Writing a Healthcare CV That Gets Shortlisted
A practical structure for clinical and non-clinical healthcare CVs, including registration details, and what to leave out.
Healthcare recruiters read for eligibility first and narrative second.\n\n## Lead with eligibility\n\nPut your registration body, licence number status and the jurisdictions you can work in near the top. For international applications, state your visa or work authorisation position plainly.\n\n## Structure clinical experience by setting\n\nName the setting, bed count or caseload, and your scope of practice. "ICU, 22 beds, level 3 ventilated patients" tells a manager more than three lines of duties.\n\n## Quantify without inventing\n\nUse figures you can defend in interview: caseload, audit outcomes, teaching load. Never estimate outcomes you did not measure.\n\n## What to leave out\n\nSkip generic soft-skill lists, photographs where they are not customary, and detailed pre-registration placements once you have several years of practice.
