About the Role We are seeking Developmental Psychology and Child Development experts to contribute specialized knowledge to projects at the intersection of psychology and technology. You’ll apply your academic and research expertise to help evaluate and improve next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world developmental psychology input. This opportunity is particularly suited to professionals with a PhD in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field , including those with research or academic backgrounds and those without direct clinical experience. Prior AI experience is not required ; your subject-matter expertise in child development is the primary focus. What You’ll Do • Evaluate, review, and annotate datasets related to child development and developmental psychology for AI system training. • Assess AI-generated content and model outputs for developmental accuracy, relevance, and cultural appropriateness . • Provide detailed expert feedback grounded in developmental psychology and child development principles. • Contribute expert analysis to scenarios, test cases, and real-world situations involving children’s learning and behavior. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support model improvements and maintain psychological integrity in AI interactions. • Create or refine guidelines addressing linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of child development across diverse backgrounds. • Document findings, observations, and recommendations clearly and thoroughly to support ongoing AI research and development. Required Qualifications • PhD in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field . • Demonstrated expertise in child development and developmental psychology. • Strong ability to evaluate developmental concepts, behaviors, and psychological content with accuracy and nuance. • Ability to provide clear, detailed written analysis and feedback. • Comfortable contributing independently through remote digital platforms. • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
